• Ciao Meow takes care of your pets at your house.  This situation provides your pets the convenience of being at home, with their normal foods, treats, toys, beds, scents, and no exposure to any ill or stressed animals, which keeps them safe, secure, well-cared for, happy and healthy.
   

• Ciao Meow also helps keep your house look lived in, (lights on/off, mail/newspapers brought in, blinds/curtains open/closed, plants inside/outside watered). 
   

• Ciao Meow also walks dogs!  Perhaps you don't need a pet sitter, but a dog walker.  We offer flexible dog walking appointments, whether in a near-by park or around your area.  See the section under "Pricing" and the button, "Dogs".

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN WE MEET
YOU AND YOUR PET(S) AT THE FREE CONSULTATION?

• Prior to the meeting, we will PDF our forms to you for your review.  We do ask that you spend the time to look over them.  We have a healthy set of forms, so you are not required to print them, as we would like you to save your ink.  But, it is imperative that you read them prior to the meeting.  We do not take pet sitting lightly.  All forms must be signed prior to pet sitting.   They protect you, us and ensure that your pet(s) are given the best care!
   

• You will meet (in most cases, unless there is a scheduling conflict) both Carrie and Dane.  We do not hire independent contractors, so you will deal with the owners at all times.  Plan on the meeting lasting anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.  It all depends on how many questions you may have, instructions for the visits, plus it gives everyone a chance to get to know one another and more importantly, it gives your pet(s) the opportunity to become comfortable with us as well.  We too, have to feel that it is a good fit for us.  We will not sign anyone without meeting you and your pet(s) first.
   

• Be as specific as you can with your instructions.  Don't feel silly telling us if one cat only drinks out of the ceramic bowl and your other cat uses the other ceramic bowl.  We need to know exactly what you do for your animals.  We will always ask, but tell us PLEASE where the extra food, treats, toys paper towels are, if they take medications, if they do not like to play with toys, etc.  Consistency and communication are HUGE with us!
   

• We will show you proof of our insurance, our bond insurance, our professional membership information, pictures of our pets and explain how serious we are about taking care of your pet(s), how we started the business, etc.  We will provide our reference information so you can contact them prior to the meeting. 
   

• If you want to interview other pet sitters as well to compare, please do!  We want you to be 100% comfortable!
